As returning adult students there are so many things competing for our time... The driving force behind my scholastic focus was knowing that no organization had really ever seen the “best version” of me, and despite consistent, yet modest success, I’d never really “felt” like the best version of myself. What emerged was a "Servant-Leader" & "Perpetual-Learner", which is quite unstoppable!

Expanding my peripheral perspective by digging into all levels of "the organization" has enabled me to look at the industries I have served from the vantage point of EVERYONE ELSE, rather than my own, previously narrow view. As a SHRM Certified Professional I have a mastery of HR knowledge and judgment as defined by the SHRM-BoCK (Body of Competency & Knowledge).

I have had the privilege of influencing some of the most dynamic sales and customer service teams in industries from mortgages to credit cards to non-profit radio. Having been mentored by several leaders with the highest level of integrity, it is my continued endeavor to positively impact every individual and organization I align myself with.

It was such an honor to be featured in the Colorado Christian University Alumni & Student magazine alongside my wife Kristin! Being able to inspire other returning adult students is something that we are very passionate about! At the time of this article (summer of 2016) I had already graduated and my wife was on her way to earning her Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration.

Personally Blessed!

I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 29+ years now! We have 2 grown children and a couple of cats. We love cruises, hot springs, gardening, bird watching and playing fantasy football... okay, maybe I'm the one that plays fantasy football! We live in Woodland Park, Colorado... deep in the heart of the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
